The assessment project of potential metal material in home appliance and IT equipment assessment has accomplished following subjects: 1. This year we collected eight dilute precious metals international market demand for dilute precious metals and the convergence of domestic industry supply and demand comparison. The 24 products of rare metal content and high value of the unit resource put in order by follow 6 factors sales volume, scrapped volume, proportion of recycling material, proportion hazardous substance, proportion of rare metal, and whether the machine crushing test. The top 5 in the list is gas water heater, microwave oven, electronic pot, water heater and data retrieval and storage system. And proposed short, medium and long-term recovery recommendations. 2.Assisted US Environmental Protection agency (US EPA) and Taiwan Environmental Protection administration (Taiwan EPA) for annual International E-waste Management Network workshop. Updated information of” E-waste in Taiwan “for twice, summarised three articles which shared by partnership countries to recycling fund management board for further research reference. Assisted two quarterly calls and four times steering committee teleconference, meeting with US EPA chief of staff on March, scoping mission on July, annual workshop in October and Malaysia household E-waste study trip in November. 3. Assisted RFMB with collecting data from waste home appliance take-back system database with analysis result for further policy developing, at the same time, tracking the waste home appliance take-back manifest usage of retailers who received tutor of take-back system slightly increase to compare with the same period last year. Moreover, according to 17th May 2016 “compliance matter” amendment which removed relevant words of sweepstakes, this project was no longer to implement sweepstakes activities, but still provided the activities for RFMB as reference. Following the new compliance matter amendment which for created extra replacement at the manifests, 5,000 manifest have been deliveried and 25,344 old version manifest were collected. In terms of propaganda, there were 2,265 residents to participating in game activities and Q＆A session, 651 IT equipment and waste fans were collected, in comparison of last year propaganda activities, participantion slightly increased 17%, it demonstrated that the propaganda are showing effective outcomes and confidential of residential to interact with waste items collecting event in the exhibition session. Coordinated Recycling Fee Reviewing committee in scheduling is for 3 times general assembly and 6 working group meeting.
